Reserve Forces Day History

The Inaugural Chairman, Sir Roden Cutler VCThe Inaugural Reserve Forced Day Parades were held in 1998 in 12 cities throughout Australia.

Since then, parades have been held on an annual basis in towns and cities throughout the nation.

Since 2002, when the service of the Royal Australian Engineers was celebrated, the parades have marked significant service, and nationally historic events.  The Buttons to the right take you to the story, and photo galleries of each of the parades.  You will note that our photo galleries for the celebrations outside Sydney lack a little depth.  If you have photos and stories from other centres.  Please eMail the webmaster
